Real-Time Power Generation, Forecasting and Control Designed to Address Africa’s Power Constraints and Accelerate the Digital Economy

NAIROBI, KENYA — 08.10.2026 — HERCULES is introducing a new approach to power infrastructure in Kenya, designed to address one of the most important challenges facing Africa’s digital transformation: the availability of reliable, scalable and intelligently managed power.

As demand for artificial intelligence, data centers, cloud computing, telecommunications and other high-density digital infrastructure accelerates across Africa, conventional electricity infrastructure can become a limiting factor. The next generation of digital infrastructure requires not only more electricity, but power systems capable of responding intelligently and in real time to rapidly changing loads. HERCULES is designed to address this challenge by controlling the whole power train — from molecules and power generation to power management and utilization for AI data centers.

Rather than treating electricity as a fixed external input, HERCULES approaches power as an intelligent, controllable system. Its architecture combines off-grid power generation, real-time sensing, real-time forecasting, high-speed power electronics and predictive control to coordinate the electrical infrastructure supporting high-density computing.

At the core of HERCULES is a real-time power-management system designed to continuously sense electrical conditions, forecast changes in power availability and demand, and dynamically respond to changing operating conditions. This enables the system to coordinate energy generation, power conversion, transient response and power-flow decisions across the entire digital facility.

HERCULES controls the whole power train.
